Team Member
A typical day will consist of helping the School Manager or Team Leader with loading and unloading the truck with the customer's items, and moving them to the storage facility.
A team member is a part time position that requires on call hours depending on demand at a given school. Team members will be paid for the hours they work; however due to the unpredictable market, you may not have a set schedule. Your hours may range from three to eight+ per day depending on the number of customers being serviced.
Team members will be asked to perform various tasks such as preliminary marketing, customer service, moving customers, labeling items, knowing and doing loading and unloading procedures, storing, and driving trucks.
Pay is based on an hourly rate, usually ranging from $8/hr to $15/hr, including tips. Over forty hours worked in a week will constitute overtime, which is paid on a time and a half basis. Depending on the level of customer service provided, the team members will pool the tips that are received from customers.

Team Leader
The Team Leader will be trained in order to execute a day of pick - ups or drop - offs. This position requires a lot of interaction with customers and therefore it is pertinent that he or she has exceptional customer service skills. Dorm2Dorm will provide a training tutorial and operations manual to the Team Leader, providing him or her with the knowledge they will need in order to carry out their operational tasks.
Depending on the number of customers, the Team Leader will be asked to work nearly full time during the busy season. However, the Team Leader will work a very limited schedule on some weeks. Other weeks he or she may be working more often than the School Manager. Everything depends on their availability and demand.

The Team Leaders are usually paid based on an hourly salary. Hourly salary for an entry level Team Leader will start at $12/hour and may be up to $18/hour depending on performance. Often customers will provide gratuity, which will be split among the team.
Must be able to easily lift over 70lbs.

School Manager
You are the eyes and ears representing our growing brand. You will be in charge of all duties that are required to run Dorm2Dorm from an onsite perspective. A school manager is a demanding position with a base hourly salary along with a highly competitive bonus structure.
School Managers are typically in school, seeking part time (seasonal) employment, or supplementing a semi - flexible fulltime job.
As mentioned, the School(s) Manager will be in charge of running the operations on a campus level and or regional level. (depending on your availability, experience, and situation)
You will be given a lot of flexibility and freedom during your contract. One of the perks of this position is your ability to choose your own work schedule.
YOU WILL NOT BE REQUIRED TO MOVE CUSTOMERS AS A SCHOOL MANAGER.
Depending on the number of customers being assisted, the School Manager's hours will vary. Clearly the better job you do marketing Dorm2Dorm's services the more work you will generate, the most hours you will work, the more money you will make.

School Managers are paid based on an hourly salary plus a performance bonus. Hourly salaries range from $8/hr to $15/hr depending on previous experience.
Directly, you will be paid your hourly salary the 1st and 15th of each month, tips given to teams from clients will be tipped out at the end of the workday, bonuses are paid at the completion of a successful season. (approx. 30 days after move - ins).
